Join the Friends Board of Directors
The mission of the Friends of the Children's Justice Center charitable organization is to provide the support needed to help child victims of crime recover from the damaging physical, mental, and spiritual effects of their abuse. Through our fundraising efforts we help support the program costs, basic essential client needs, and furnishings for the facilities. Our Board of Directors provide vital support to our staff and the children we work with that is essential to their healing journey.
The Friends Board of Directors are voting members who provide guidance and oversight to direct all activities and expenditures. Members commit to regular attendance and strong contributions to board and subcommittee meetings. Board meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:30 pm.
What Are The Preferred Qualifications?
Ideal nominees are individuals with proven leadership history, experience supporting complex organizations or projects, and heart for supporting child victims. All backgrounds and skill sets will be considered.
